And, once again, Derprosa™ by Taghleef Industries will be present to present the most efficient, sustainable and effective solutions that will help brands to create the best pieces of secondary packaging.
Derprosa™ by Taghleef Industries, since 1988, is the European specialist in manufacturing lamination films on paper that are able to adapt to the most diverse printing technologies and lamination systems on the market. We design, engineer and manufacture our films in our plant in Spain while they are widely available worldwide. Being located in Europe allow us to be aligned with all European sustainability strategies and initiatives, which are now part of our own approach to sustainability: Dynamic Cycle.
Derprosa™ is the brand that invented the first tactile film for paper lamination. Derprosa™ DL Soft Touch®, a film that has created a category in itself, perfectly aligned with the differentiation, exclusivity and excellence strategies of the most demanding brands in cosmetics, perfumery, premium beverages and many other high-end categories. Over the years, our Derprosa™ DL Soft Touch® film has evolved into many variants to suit specific equipment, inks, post lamination finishes and customer needs.
But Derprosa™ has not stopped there and continued to evolve. With BOPP, BOPET, NYLON or BOPLA based films. With the most transparent, resistant and efficient scuff-resistant films in the market, both in gloss and matte finishes. Derprosa also developed specific films to fight Covid among other microbes as well as differentiated adhesives, fully adapted to all offset and digital presses available. We have also incorporated more sustainable resins, such as polypropylene of PCR and BIO origin, and even a range of films with 100% vegetable and compostable raw materials (BOPLA): Derprosa™ Nativia®.
In Italy, Derprosa™ Nativia® is being exclusively used by our local partner Plastigraf Trevigiana thanks to an exclusive agreement also extended to 2023.
Derprosa™ by Taghleef Industries will present at Packaging Première Milan 2023 the sustainable reLIFE™ range, which incorporates resins made of chemically recycled post-consumer plastic waste that have the same behaviour, performance, properties and quality as traditional Derprosa™ films made of fossil-based raw materials. This range contributes to reducing the consumption of finite natural resources and makes use of precisely those other waste materials that would otherwise end up in landfills. In addition, all Derprosa sustainable solutions contribute to the reduction of C02 emissions.
We will also show for the first time the new Derprosa™ Matte DL Pro-Shield™ Sensa film, the most matte, contact transparent and resistant scuff resistant matte film in the market, offering a brand new tactile experience.
